Firstly , Chloe burst off into 2nd place going extremely fast flying through all of the contestants .Next Mollie get tripped over by Great Preston but luckily ,was able to jump over her foot and still bet her in the race. Shockingly, Chloe came 4th place surprising all of the parents even from other schools.


Unfortunately,Billy got tripped over and got stood on ,and also hurt his ankle this is why he came 33rd but would of come 5th if not 1st .Mason came an amazing 7th out of 100 people. Oliver, who is one of the fastest, came 14th place.

Ash Tree are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the Sainsbury's Gold School Sports Award for 2017/18. We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport. Also a special thanks goes to Mr Dickinson, Mrs Ratcliffe, Mrs Roe, Miss Farrington and all the other staff who have helped us to achieve this Ash Tree amazing award. 

Brigshaw Sports Awards - July 2018

This week we celebrated our Ash Tree amazing sporting achievers at the Brigshaw Sports Awards 2018. Our nominees were invited to attend a special awards ceremony at Brigshaw High School. Awards went to those who had excelled in their contributions to school sport, sports personality and sports leadership. Well done to all our winners!

The results are in...

Ash Tree are very proud to announce that they came second overall out of all the Brigshaw Trust schools at the Big Sports Day 2018. They also won awards for 1st place in Tag Rugby, two 1st place awards in Handball, one 1st place award and one 3rd place award in the Relay Races. Well done Ash Tree! 


The Big Trust Sports Day - June 2018

Ash Tree's Years 4,5, and 6 had a brilliant day at the John Charles Center competing against the other Brigshaw Trust Schools in dodge-ball, handball, tag rugby and relay races. Lots of teams came first in their events but we are still waiting to find out the overall winning school.

Summer Term Sport 2018

This term there are lots of amazing sporting opportunities for the children of Ash Tree to take part in. Year's 4,5 and 6 will be taking part in the Big Trust Sports Day at the John Charles Center in June. For the last four years Ash Tree have remained the overall winning champions, let's see if they can keep hold of that record and make it another Ash Tree amazing win this year! 

In other news... some children from Year 6 got to visit The Depot climbing wall in Pudsey, children in KS1 will be competing in some inter-school football competitions, Tag Rugby competitions are taking place, we have some extremely talented children taking part in football trails at Leeds United and of course we have our very own Ash Tree Sports Day for Years 1 to 6 on Monday 23rd July. Foundation Stage are hosting their own mini Sports Day on Wednesday 4th July. It's going to be a busy one!
