Arbor
Arbor is our whole school system that we use for our attendance and registers. We also use this system for parents to book parents evening appointments and to send letters. Please ensure our school office have your correct email address and that you are signed up to Arbor.
Class Dojo
This is our whole school communication tool (available as an app for iPhone and android) and your child's class communication tool. At Kippax Ash Tree we expect teachers to post a daily learning timetable each morning and keep you updated with important information and events such as PE days, events etc. When your child starts with us we will set your Class Dojo account up using your contact email address. As a parent it is essential that you activate your Class Dojo account so you ensure you are fully informed of all school and class events.
Parent Pay
This is the system we use to pay for items such as school dinners, school trips and events. You will be given a letter with a code which is unique to your child. Follow the instructions on the letter to set up your account. If you need any help or support please speak to our Office Team.
Welcome to our Class Open Afternoons
We hold class open afternoons at the beginning of each academic year. Parents are invited into their child's class to listen to a presentation from their child's class teacher. The class teacher talks parents and families through the year ahead and sets out our expectations for our pupils. You will also get the opportunity to ask questions and meet the staff working in that class. This open afternoon allows parents to get a real insight in to their child's year of education with us alongside revisiting our school ethos and values.
Parent's Evening
We hold Parents Evening twice a year; one in the Autumn Term and one in the Spring Term. Parents evening is an opportunity for you to have a face to face meeting with your child's class teacher to discuss learning, progress, next steps and how you can support your child as their parent. At Kippax Ash Tree we know that parental involvement has a significant positive effect on children's education and we are passionate about building strong relationships with our parents and families though clear, open and honest communication.
