Breakfast Club (including free Breakfast Club places)
We offer a Breakfast Club for children in Reception to Year 6. Our opening hours are from 7.30am - 8.40am. Our Breakfast Club offers a choice of cereal, toast, yogurt and a drink. There is also a variety of activities for children to take part in eg: lego, ping pong, jigsaws, games. All staff that are employed by Kippax Ash Tree are staff members and follow all school policies and procedures.
Parents are required to bring their child directly in to the hall doors to register their attendance. Children are then escorted to their classrooms by staff members at 8.40am.
We are also proud to be part of the government free Early Adopter Breakfast Club trial over the Summer Term. This initiative gives parents the option of a place for thier child (Reception to Year 6) in our Breakfast Club free of charge from 8.10am - 8.40am. Parents are welcome to book a place in the free breakfast club via Arbor.
Payment of Fees
It is a requirement that parents book a place pay their fees upfront using Arbor. Fees are payable during periods of absence, including sickness.
Each session costs £3.00 per pupil or £15.00 per week.
Places are limited; therefore it may be necessary to join a waiting list until a place becomes available.
After School Clubs
At Kippax Ash Tree we offer a variety of After School Clubs for our children e.g: Gardening Club, Choir, Science Club, Team Games, Musical Theatre and Forest School. After School Clubs run from 3.15pm - 4.15pm and are free of charge. Parents can book their child on to an after school club via Arbor. Clubs change each half term to ensure we offer a range of opportunities for children to develop their interests and talents.
This half term our free After School Clubs on offer are:
Monday - Coding Club for Year 5 and Year 6
Monday - Mindfulness Crafting Club for Year 3 and Year 4
Tuesday - Year 1 and 2 Team Games
Wednesday - Year 3 and 4 Team Games
Thursday - Year 5 and 6 Team Games
Friday - Tchoukball for Years 3,4,5 and 6.
